Wonderful weekends of January!

February 2, 2013

January had been a month with a long to-do list. I was busy with school works but that did not mean that I have not enjoyed this month. I did! ☺

I have a new student in class, but actually, he was in my class during the summer. So I thought that he would adjust well with the class routines, but I was wrong. Our class was a bit distracted because of this, but by this time, we finally came to the best solution and the kids are getting by. I am still hoping that all goes well until the end of the school year. And I forgot, there are twins that will be added to my class on Monday! So there, good luck. ☺

Every week on January, I was in Tagaytay. The first week, my co-teachers and I went to Paradizoo and Residence Inn to check these places for our Big Field Trip. Paradizoo offers interactive activities while Residence Inn has Animal, Magical, and Mascot shows to watch out for. So there, we decided we'd have our school's field trip there.

Last January 11, I met up with my old friends (Chai and Arlene). We just ate out at Robinsons' Giligan's and spent the night at Arlene's. I had a fun night with them, catching up on each other's lives, telling horrible and laughable experiences (that goes to Chai ☺), laughing at how our dinner went in the resto, remembering old days. and sharing some future plans. I love how it seems like it was just yesterday when we last got together and felt like nothing changed. That's cliche but yeah, it's true. I think we'll do that again, maybe next year. Haha! Here's one of the photos taken that night:

A week after that, I spent my Saturday with Michael. We watched one of his most favorite bands of all time: THE ATARIS at Eastwood City, Quezon City. The catch was we got in for free again! Good life ☺️ Props to Ovation Production and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls for bringing the band to the Philippines for the first time. The band is awesome! I enjoyed the gig, and enjoyed it more seeing Michael's dream come to life. He was so happy to see them and he sang along to almost all of the songs played that time. An obvious fan. Hehe!

On Sunday that week was Janus' 6th birthday and Michael and I's mensiversary. Janus, my nephew, would like to go to the zoo so, that afternoon we went to Residence Inn and he was so happy! We got tired of that trip but to see a child's eyes sparkle because of pure happiness was precious. I made a video of that trip and here it goes:

Finally, January 26 was our school's big field trip! The kids had so much fun and their family, too. The kids were even excited days before the trip and I felt sad for kids in our class who didn't join.

So that's all for January. I think February will be gone fast, too. And oh, here come the busy days! Let's stay optimistic and hardworking but don't forget to enjoy every single time. God bless you and me! ♡
