What really made my weekends worthwhile? See, for both months of April and May, I only had weekends to go somewhere and explore new places. So, that's it, given only the weekends, my plans are limited. But, with good time management, I was able to enjoy all of it!
First and foremost, I was happy that we already had our successful 4th Antioch Weekend Experience. Once again, we reached out to 20 youths in our parish, and shared the love of Christ with each other that we experienced in the community. I am proud with the new batch that we facilitated and I am hoping and wishing that they will always stay true to their commitment. Of course, I, myself, will be always here to support them.
Secondly, I had swimming getaways with friends and family. There's no better way to beat the scorching heat by spending time with people you trust and love. Aside from refreshing from all the stress induced by work, weather, pressure, etc., I got to give time to people I cherished most.
Another thing that really made me happy, was that I got to spend 3rd anniversary with my boyfriend somewhere nice and cool, crowdy yet fun. It was our first time to celebrate it together. And it was pretty awesome!
Lastly, I had my second climb at Mt. Pico de Loro in Ternate, Cavite with fellow Antiochers and with the boyfriend. I organized the climb but of course, with the help of friends. This second climb was harder, I guessed.
I hope that I will be able to post all about summer vacation 2012 soooooon! ☺
